Find there never seems to be enough no decompression time on a dive? One of most appealing benefits of the Nitrox Diver Specialty is extended bottom time. For example, if you dive 70 feet on air your no decompression limit is 35 minutes. Add a little additional oxygen and dive EANx32 and you can extend your no decompression limit to 60 minutes.

Or, instead of extending your bottom time, you can add an extra safety margin by reducing the nitrogen you are absorbing during the dive. Simply increasing the enriched air and using the air tables or a computer set for 21% provides a wonderful safety benefit. Great for mature divers and those doing several days of repetitive diving.

It's also a prerequisite for Technical training. By learning and reinforcing the skills and knowledge found in this course, we prepare ourselves to continue our learning through courses such as Advanced Nitrox, Decompression Techniques, Recreational Trimix and Closed Circuit Rebreather.

Prerequisites:
Minimum certification of Open Water or equivalent.
Minimum age: 15 years old

Classroom & Dives:
Academics are previewed by the student prior to classroom sessions. Each session reviews
and expands on knowledge covered in Nitrox Diver Crew pak and video. 1-2 classroom sessions. Total classroom time is approximately 4-6hrs.

2 training dives. Dives focus on calculating safe dive procedures for using enriched air.
Dives can be completed concurrently with dives for AOW or Specialty course dives and can be completed at almost any dive location.

Nitrox logbook pages
Full scuba system including tanks appropriate for nitrox up to 40%.
