Fran Trees & Eli Tepperberg

As staff instructors for Ocean Explorers for the past 12 years and contract instructors for the military, Fran Trees & Eli Tepperberg have been teaching and certifying SCUBA divers from all walks of life.

Fran, a PADI Master Instructor & IDC Staff Instructor, and Eli, a PADI Master SCUBA Diver Trainer, enjoy teaching a large range of scuba courses, from basic Open Water Certification and specialty diving, to professional level courses.

As outdoor educators, they also enjoy teaching Rescue and Outdoor Emergency Care, and are NJ State certified Emergency Medical Technicians.

Of particular interest, to Fran & Eli, are underwater photography & video. They have traveled extensively to capture photos and video from some of the world's most exotic dive destinations. You can see some of their work on their personal web site, www.franeli.com.

When they are not teaching SCUBA, Fran teaches math and computer science at Drew University and Eli does fitness consulting and is building a career in Web design. Maintaining their fitness is important to Fran and Eli, so they also regularly participate in a wide range of outdoor activities, including, but not limited to, competing in endurance events, such as marathons and triathlons.
